These grants provide maximum funding of 30,000€ each for specialised training in exhibition organisation (curatorship) theory and techniques as well as museum management.
Since 2004, the Foundation has awarded two grants each year for Exhibition Curatorship and Museum Management in order to foster specialised training at leading institutions in Europe and America, for those people interested in the curatorial field of contemporary art (from the avant-garde to the present day).
These grants have a maximum duration of nine months (although they may be extended for a further nine months at the chosen training centre upon request). They offer comprehensive training in theory and techniques of museum management and exhibition organisation (Curatorial Studies).
