Commented visits: Discovering the Botín Foundation collection

The Art at the change of the century: A selection of works acquired in the past two decades exhibition includes the work of contemporary maestros and young artists, offering an interesting perspective on today's artistic practice. Some of the artists included in the exhibition, who were directors of the Villa Iris Workshops and scholarship holders, will explain their works and their current career in these sessions. Furthermore, we will invite curators and professionals to offer us their own visions of the collection and of art today.

Asier Mendizábal (Ordizia, Guipúzcoa, 1973) was a scholarship holder in 2005,and the work that represents him, Untitled (Forcole) 2013, exemplifies the essence of his work and will be the main theme of this visit.
