The wall installation is composed of 18 photographs arranged in a frieze-like sequence across the space. Its images – drawn from a range of sources including photographs of Katinka’s earlier works, skies, and the textured hair of those close to her – appear as fragments of a personal visual archive.
Each poster corresponds to a letter in the title, and together they follow a subtle formal system based on the visual characteristics of the letters – curves, verticals, and horizontals – which serve as a quiet guide for composition and arrangement. When we come in close contact with these bigger-than-life prints, various small sculptures – such as small bronzes from her own collection alongside glazed ceramic and copper fragments made by the artist - extrude as if they were outcrops resulting from the most mundane actions and their spoils.
